It's been in the works for quite a while now, and Manipulated Daydreams is finally reopening! The plot has been reverted to its original state; it won't progress until we have enough members to start Keeper auditions! Welcome to MDD everyone! ♥
Been hard at work on MDD, getting everything together for the opening in two days! The lovely Chris is now co-admin!

The ring of her joyful laughter bounces off the cobblestones, drawing the attention of passerby. They watch with wide eyes as a girl dressed in expensive looking furs rushes down the street with ease, being chased by an old butcher. Temperance looks back, mirth in her dangerous onyx eyes and a smug smirk dancing across her pink lips. She waves a wax paper bundle high in the air mockingly, her laugh increasing at the sound of his furious cry. Some people try to stop her but she easily ducks and dodges, demonic abilities at work. She takes a sharp right down main street and slows down to a walk. She quickly molds into the crowd there, stuffing the packaged meat in her dressings. Sure, she had plenty of money to pay for the beef, but she just loved the thrill she got from outsmarting that stupid butcher! The smirk is still in place as she casually strolls down the street. She wonders if she'll meet anyone new today. Maybe someone interesting. She takes another right and comes upon a more deserted street. She sticks to the side and cracks her neck, sighing at the bliss it provided. [lazzzy]
Free at last, free at last. William would never get tired of thinking those words. After nearly one hundred and fifty years of being trapped in a bird's body it was great to walk on two legs and and stretch his arms and all that. It hadn't been long since he'd been set free but he was already planning out possible futures for himself. Raeras was letting him stay in the cabin still, but he was going to move soon. He knew it was strange, having her pet of nearly one hundred years turn out to be a full grown man. He had accompanied the air fairy today on her messenger run to Letho and decided to linger.
It was nice to see the village from a different point of view, a human point of view. Everything was brighter and every sound and smell and even taste seemed better. His thoughts were wandering, thinking once more about the possibility of opening an apothecary in Kleibos when he collided right in to something. He jumped back just a bit and eyed the woman he had just run in to briefly. "My apologies." He offered a faint smile and ran a hand through his shaggy black hair. "I wasn't paying attention."

She whistles a lone tune, that smug look still on her face, but it is cut short by the sudden personal space intrusion by a youthful looking man [A/N: Oooo, Johnny Depp :3]. Her onyx eyes narrow and slide dangerously over to him. Her first instinct was to bark something mean at the man, so that's exactly what she does, "Oi! Watch where ya' goin', mate!" She barks harshly, a dark scowl on her face. Then she sighs and pushes a strand of her sleek ebony hair behind one ear, "Obviously you weren't...no, wait, I'm sorry for that."After Eli telling you over and over again to watch your temper! C'mon, stop being a jerk to this guy! She thought to herself. She takes a step away from him and lets her eyes rush over his figure. She delicately sniffs the air to test his scent. Why does he smell of bird? Did he have a pet bird or something? And a whole lot of wizard was sprinkled on top. She frowns. This guy was a wizard? He didn't look it. He looked as if he should be a captain of some pirate crew! [A/N: Like what I did there? Sorry, I know, bad jokes]
She has seen her fair share of locals in this hell hole of a village and he certainly didn't look the part. Then again, neither did she with her expensive dressings and dominating aura. She opens her mouth to speak again, showing off canines that seemed a tad bit longer than normal, "Ugh, sorry about being such a jerk. I was in a good mood too, I will never understand myself. You don't look like you're from around here. Some people in this village would consider you dangerous for looking so out of place here."
Says the girl running around barefoot with a fur coat.
William raised an eyebrow as the mystery woman seemed to babble for a moment, almost like her thoughts were running a mile a minute. The old him probably would have sent her flying in to a wall for being so 'insolent' as some would say. Part of him even itched to do it, just to see if he still had it, but the wizard knew he did and knew that this crazy woman was probably much younger than himself anyways. Looks could be deceiving yes, but just call it a guy feeling. "Apology accepted, I think." He laughed, moving to the side just slightly to prevent blocking the side walk
"Ah, no I'm not from around here." He glanced down at his clothing and then over to her. "But I don't think I look more out of place than you do." A smirk crossed William's lips briefly . She was rather peculiar. Her dress and attitude certainly put her out of place in the quaint little village. Much more so than himself. He was glad in relatively simple clothing- white pants and a white, loose fitting shirt. Being that Raeras lived near the air village, that's where his current sets of clothing were from. Well, whoever this woman was, she certainly wasn't human. "My name is William Loric, and you are?"
words:220 ||thoughts: fail post is fail D:, also he's totally expecting some kind of smart remark to his question sbout her name xD
She looks at her clothing at his comment, "I don't see anything wrong..." She murmurs to herself before paying attention again. She puts a hand on her hip, a habit of her's, giving her an even sassier look. She never really tried to cover up she was a demon. She knew how some might react, she's been tied up to many stakes plenty of times to know. She usually just went along with it, knowing that when the flames do reach her they wouldn't hurt her, considering her element was fire. It gave her a nice, almost tickling sensation that made her giggle joyfully as village people watched in disbelief. Those were good times...
"William, eh? Can I call you Will?" She asks and continues on without waiting for an answer, "I'm Temperance Baron. Psychokinetic extraordinaire! Nice to make your acquaintance, Will!" She holds out her hand to shake. She was quite the obnoxious one...but she had a weird charm to her. The confidence she felt practically radiated from her, and it almost seemed as if she had her own glow.
She keeps one hand pressed to her chest, to hold up the packaged meat she stole. The fur jacket was too loose and limp to support it. She knew she should have brought her leather carrying bag with her! She just wasn't expecting to be stealing anything today.
Of course she didn't see anything wrong, she was probably crazy. William raised an eyebrow again, but this time at himself. How had he heard that? Maybe it was an after effect of breaking the curse. It would wear off in a few days most likely. He wasn't going to worry about it. "You can call me whatever you like. Will is fine. It's nice to meet you as well Ms. Baron." He smiled after she finished and shook her hand. Peculiar indeed, though perhaps not in such a bad way. Everyone was a little different anyhow weren't they?
His eyes now moved to her other hand as his own dropped back to his side. "Have something to hide?" William smirked a bit before looking back up at her. Obviously the answer would be yes if she didn't lie. Unless she happened to be harboring some kind of bag or wounded animal...would the wizard highly doubted to be true. "So, what exactly are you?" She wasn't human, he knew that much. She didn't have the..presence...of a vampire and he hadn't met many of them that enjoyed flaunting about in the sunlight. It would nag at him all day if he didn't figure it out or she didn't just make it easy and tell him. He would find out eventually if she didn't say anything; the question was 'when' not 'if'. Though there was this pride that he sensed Temperance had. Perhaps she would gladly tell him.
