THE ELEMENTS
There are six elements available on the site. Over time, a hierarchy among them has developed, and with that, a bit of discrimination. At the bottom are the elements of Earth and Air, above that Water and Fire, and at the top Light and Dark. Many people look down on Earth and Air, believing them to be the weakest elements by far.
Earth and Air are the most common elements for a creature to have. They are like the peasants of a kingdom, making up the general population. Water and Fire are slightly less common, while Light and Dark are almost rare elements to have.
The posts below will give a general description and powers of each element. You are free to elaborate, but keep in mind that the most powerful people are the Keepers. A person can only have power over one element, unless a second one is bought in the coins store.

LIGHT
Having control over the light element doesn't mean a character is pure or good. While it may be influential, light users could very much become evil. The Light element deals with, most obviously, light. It is also a healing and heat element.
Basic Powers: — Light manipulation — Creating light (in any form; balls of light are common) — Creating heat/warmth (ex: warmth radiating from a ball of light, similar to fire) — Healing (more powerful healing than the water element) — Purification (removing negativity - limited) — Lightning manipulation (limited, probably caused by intense emotion)
Notes: — Evenly matched by the Dark element — Associated with yellow and light blue colors — Commonly seen in angels and elves — Uncommon in vampires and demons

DARK
Users of the Dark element aren't necessarily evil. The darkness may influence them, but they have just as good of a chance to be good as evil. Naturally, the dark element deals with darkness. It is more or less the opposite of light in most of its powers, also dealing with shadows, pain, and cold.
Basic Powers: — Dark & shadow manipulation — Creating darkness/shadows — Dark energy (often in the form of lightning-like beams or mist/fog) — Pain (opposite of healing; inducing pain) — Teleportation (limited; into shadows/darkness) — Resurrection/Necromancy (a limited-time ressurection)
Notes: — Evenly matched by the Light element — Associated with purple, black, and grey colors — Commonly seen in vampires, demons, and sorcerers — Uncommon in angels and elves

WATER
Those with control over the Water element are generally calm and wise. This is a stereotype, but still true in many cases. The water element deals with water manipulation and healing.
Basic Powers: — Water manipulation (generating, shaping, absorbing) — Ice manipulation (generating, shaping) — Healing (not as powerful as light; mostly minor injuries and sicknesses) — Breathing underwater (extended, not permanent)
Notes: — Seen as a match to the Fire element — Can only be used when a source of water is nearby; therefore not very useful in places with no moisture — Associated with blue colors — Commonly seen in elves, mermaids, and nymphs — Uncommon in sorcerers, witches/wizards, werewolves

Basic Powers: — Fire manipulation — Creating heat, burns — Fireproof/heat resistance — Lightning manipulation (limited)
Notes: — Seen as a match to the Water element — Associated with red and orange colors — Commonly seen in vampires, werewolves, and shapeshifters — Uncommon in nymphs and elves

AIR
Users of the Air element are generally thought to be relaxed and wise. It deals with air/wind and weather manipulation.
Basic Powers: — Air and wind manipulation — Weather manipulation (takes a lot of energy) — Flight (free-floating, wings, etc) — Teleportation/mimicry (turning into a gas/air, a fading away effect)
Notes: — Seen as a match to the Earth element, thought to be weak — Associated with teal/blue-green and light colors — Commonly seen in elves, witches/wizards, shapeshifters, angels — Uncommon in vampires, demons

Those who have control over the Earth element are thought to be reserved, yet unpredictable. The element deals with earth and plant manipulation, as well as animals.
Basic Powers: — Earth and plant manipulation — Can cause earthquakes — Teleportation through the ground — Ability to speak with animals, possibly control them
Notes: — Seen as a match to the Air element, thought to be weak — Associated with green and brown colors — Commonly seen in shapeshifters, werewolves, and nymphs — Uncommon in vampires, demons, and angels
