 APPLICATIONSHAPESHIFTER | DARK | SEVENTY-FOUR WOLF | HARPY EAGLE luka was born into a self proclaimed noble family though he denounced himself from them and no longer has any family to return to because of it. it's left him cold and apt to bite well before an opportunity presents itself where he could possibly be bitten in return. therefore luka is hard to get close to, but once the bond is there he is fiercely loyal and would protect those he cares about with everything in his ability. he likes being in control and hates when he is put into situations where he doesn't have it or it's taken away from him. he's rather animalistic, even what not shifted, because he spends just as much time in his shifted formed then he does as a human and he takes body language signals more seriously than words.
friends - if someone can crack his outer shell of social defenses and not be deterred by his unerring cold shoulder, it isn't that hard to get close to luka though i expect true friends to be quite few and far between.

enemies - it is quite easy to get on luka's bad side. namely, irritating him - which isn't all that hard to do - is the best way to get written off. in general, anyone who really isn't able to withstand his icy exterior or crack it to discover the person beneath it are bound to end up here somehow. the same goes with those that are easily offended by words, luka's tongue is sharper than a knife.

a partner - though i'm open to this, i don't really want to say anything about the possibility of luka getting into a relationship unless it presents itself through rp. it is a possibility, but there are plenty of things that would need to happen between him and this significant other before they're even considered significant whatsoever.

Hey Nox! Going to apologize right now, I can already sense what I'm about to write is going to be a mess of words. Sorry.
Vanya's a very compassionate and outgoing person. She's also fairly patient and is rather stubborn about looking for the best in people. So, that said, I think these two could be friends. Vanya would probably get annoyed at him every so often, but in the end she's loyal. It's up to you how close of friends they would be. Vanya travels often and doesn't have much of a home anywhere, so he would have to be alright with only seeing her every so often. She does make sure to return to a place when she has someone there, however.
I think and interesting idea would be Vanya meeting Luka originally in his wolf (or eagle) form. As an elf, user of the earth element, and just a lover of nature in general, she loves animals. She can also understand them, communicate with them if you will. I thought it would be interesting if the two became friends as animal and elf first, y'know? Vanya would probably suspect something different about him, but probably not look into it or realize until the very moment he shifted in front of her or revealed himself. That's just an idea, of course. What do you think?

i like it a lot! i think that, given time and patience, vanya and luka could definitely become friends. i actually have an open thread right now with luka just chillin in his wolf shift if you want to jump in there, but i think that it would be cool to see where a thread between these two progresses naturally. once luka makes a bond with someone, it's rather hard to convince him otherwise

Great! I will try and post later, if no one gets to it first. I think seeing things naturally progress between the two will be very interesting. They could start as complete strangers and get closer, yeah? That would be fun to play out c:
